This year’s brand-new 2013 MINI Cooper Convertible is simply the convertible version of the traditional MINI Cooper. The 2013 MINI Cooper Convertible is the base-level trim of this vehicle, beneath two additional higher trim levels (the MINI Cooper S Convertible and the MINI Cooper John Cooper Works Convertible). The base-level trim for this year’s all-new 2013 MINI Cooper Convertible offers two doors and seating for up to four people. This base trim offers a powertrain that is made up of a 1.6-liter four cylinder engine, capable of producing up to 121 horsepower and 114 pound per foot of torque.

MINI offers a standard six speed manual transmission with hill start assist with the all-new 2013 MINI Cooper Convertible, with an option to upgrade to a six speed automatic transmission. The manual transmission offers a fuel economy rating of about 29 miles per gallon in the city and 37 miles per gallon on the highway, for a combined rating of 32 miles per gallon.

The brand-new 2013 MINI Cooper Convertible comes well-equipped with a long list of features that come standard with every model. Some of these standard features include full power accessories, 16-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, cruise control, remote keyless entry, Bluetooth connectivity, and a six speaker sound system complete with a CD player, HD radio, a USB and iPod adapter, and an auxiliary audio jack.
