    "There was a discrepancy in the final work invoice. I reported an issue with my automatic wipers. The work-up said that the vehicle was taken on a 10 mile road trip and unable to reproduce - which I had warned as it's sporadic in nature when the wipers stop working - so they did not change out the sensor. However, the mileage in/out indicated only 4 miles had been driven on the vehicle. So was there a sufficient test completed, or is there an error in the in/out mileage? Either seems somewhat unacceptable as the former may leave me with a defective extra feature and the latter is a compliance issue to ensure cars are not driven unnecessarily (I assume). Because of this, since I'm not sure the issue is actually resolved and I have to question the validity of the test, I can't give this an exceptional rating. I picked up my vehicle after the service center had closed, so I couldn't speak to my advisor in person regarding this item.     "My appointment was at 8:45, and was told it would take 2-3 hours to reset my computer. I also requested my driver's side armrest to be tightened as it rattled badly over rough pavement. I called back at 1:00 to see if my car was ready. The service attendant said 45 minutes. I asked to send the driver to pick me up. My car wasn't ready until 4:00, 7 hours after I dropped it off, and 4 hours past the promised time of completion. If it was going to take all day, I should have been told this. I told them NO, I want Orlando Mini as I got my car there and love the service I get there.     "Living 1.5 hrs from Orlando Mini, and having to make a trip to Orlando, we decided to stop in at Orlando Mini. We said hi to our Sales rep, Elena (who was super by the way), and asked while we were here was it possible to have our Mini checked and see if any servicing was due. She checked, an oil change was due, and without an appointment, the service department took us in.     "I detailed to the Service Advisor the fact that I researched extensively on several Mini Blogs the offending noise/rattle coming from the rear of the vehicle. I explained how I adjusted the bumper stops on the hatch door as per the NAM blogs, and how after the fact, the rattle is still present on occasion. Then when I picked the vehicle up I was told only that they found a TSB and "rotated the bumpers" quote. I am sorely disappointed that all my research and explanation fell on deaf ears. To adopt an air of condescension towards your more intelligent costumers is clearly disrespectful. I am a technician by trade and would prefer to converse about the details of the repair with the employee doing the work. I was told I needed a appointment. I drove about 40 miles for my appointment, when I got there I told the young man my problems and he jumped into the car and fixed all my problems in a few seconds. All this could have been handled over the phone if they had connected me to the service department as I requested, it would have saved me the drive to and from Orlando for no reason.
