The John Cooper Works trim offers still the same engine, with an even higher turbocharged boost, offering 208 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque. All models offer a six speed manual transmission, and the Cooper version and the S version offer an optional six speed automatic transmission with manual shift control.

The 2012 MINI Cooper S Clubman offers a variety of safety features that come standard, including front seat side airbags, full length side curtain airbags, four wheel anti lock disc brakes with emergency brake assist, stability control and traction control, auto delay off head lights, child seat anchors, tire pressure monitoring, electronic brake force distribution, engine immobilizer and more.
